Loop (2023)
From movement to motion — a dance translated through print and AR.

Created in response to a university brief, this project began with me recording my own repetitive movement sequence: exploring rhythm, form and physical flow. I translated that motion into a looping animation, selectively abstracting and exaggerating key gestures to create something both familiar and reimagined.

The final animation was risograph printed using fluorescent pink and yellow, amplifying its bright, joyful tone.
To extend the piece, I built an AR filter that activates when scanning the print: revealing layered graphics that pulse and ripple outward, echoing the original movement.

AR filter

I created an AR filter to bridge the gap between the original risograph print and digital work. When the original risograph is scanned, an animated graphic appears on top of it. To help the audience with their AR experience, I added a small instruction in an exhibition format beside it.
