Gardening products are often designed for money, not the planet, relying on chemicals, plastic, and short-term fixes.
VerdeFlora needed a brand identity and packaging that would reflect its values of growth, sustainability and community, and stand out to environmentally conscious gardeners.
Most gardening brands still cater to a mindset that values quick results over long-term impact. But a new kind of gardener is emerging. One who treats gardening as an act of care and responsibility, not just utility. This audience seeks products that align with their ecological values, yet few brands truly speak to them.
I created a brand identity that embodies natural cycles with flowing forms, earthy tones and growth-inspired visuals.
The packaging uses recyclable materials and communicates its eco credentials clearly and confidently.
Together, they position VerdeFlora as a brand that’s not just green in message, but in action: deeply rooted in purpose, not convention.
A rich green palette, ranging from bright lime to deep forest, was chosen as the brand colour to evoke the enrichment of nature and the lush imagery suggested by the name VerdeFlora. To create a more organic, non-artificial feel, subtle noise textures were added to all logos and illustrations.
