Brief: Promote the joy of spending time in nature to Gen Z, who often stay indoors and advertise the upcoming spring of 2024 after the long winter.
We created vibrant billboard designs for GLIMPSE’s “Agency for Nature” campaign focusing on Spring 2024 through a humorous, youthful and illustrative lens. We aim to playfully address the shift from winter's 'seasonal blues' to the optimistic embrace of spring's abundant sunlight, warmth, and joy. In the UK's youth culture, discussions around seasonal depression and the role of serotonin have gained significant traction. Our concept revolves around personifying the Sun as a 'serotonin-distributor,' symbolising the transition from shorter, darker winter days to serotonin-boosting, sun-filled spring days. Our inspiration stems from the scientific correlation between reduced sunlight in winter impacting serotonin levels. By depicting the Sun as a lively character, we hope to encourage young people to embrace the outdoors, bask in the Sun's revitalising essence, and revel in its ability to uplift spirits.
